GENERAL DONATIONS
All donations require inspection. When you call for a pickup or to inquire about a donation drop off, the ReStore associates will ask questions to ascertain whether your donation is acceptable. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept every donation. Due to space constraints and overstock of certain items, we may be unable to accept your donation at a particular time.

We reserve the right to refuse certain donations as some items may not be good enough condition to resell. Some items will not sell even though they are in good condition. The ReStore associate will have the final decision about whether or not we can accept your donations. Thank you for understanding.

BUSINESS DONATIONS
Retailers and manufacturers can donate discontinued, end of the line, overstock, or scratched products, thereby eliminating the cost to return materials and reducing the amount of materials sent to the landfill.

HISTORY OF WINNIPEG'S RESTORE
The ReStore receives new and used building materials generously donated by manufacturers, retailers, contractors and homeowners and resells them to the general public at greatly reduced prices.

Because the ReStore 'recycles' by reselling used materials and products that would otherwise be headed for overflowing landfills, it annually saves over 1.5 million pounds of reusable product from local landfills.

Proceeds from the Restore cover 100% of Habitat for Humanity Winnipeg's administrative costs enabling all personal and corporate donations to go directly to the construction of affordable homes for low-income working families to purchase.
