September 15th Meeting
The Habitat Steering Committee meeting last night was inspiring as the homes are coming along so well. Those who are at the house everyday are all so passionate for their work and they blow me away with what you can do if you put your mind to it!
On top of that, every single day there has been food prepared for the workers and as we discussed last night, it's more than just food. It's the camaraderie that happens over eating together and working together. It nourishes the workers stomachs and souls. We're really blessed to have such a giving community.
It's also tentatively been decided that beginning Sept. 26th, work will commence between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. rather than during the day. Due to back to school / work, we hope this will give volunteers and the families more opportunity to get over to the house.
If you can volunteer between those hours, give Maxine a call.
Thanks!

But it happened in a mere two days. Thanks to the teachers (Steve Densmore, Brian Peel & others) who joined us for this great day!
